Tailored black satin blazer from dirk bikkembergs womenswear line-cum-tongue twister, dirk bikkembergs hommes pour la femme (1990s). Made from blend of acetate and polyester, it has a five button front, notch lapels, and darting through the body for shape. There are two large cargo pockets on the back of the blazer, which would be commonish for a playful 90s parka, very uncommon for a tailored blazer regardless the period, and perhaps uncommonish but not unheard of for a bikkembergs blazer from this era. Button placement is also interesting: five buttons on the front are high, and pushed especially close together, three buttons on the cuffs quite spaced out. Unsure if this combination is pleasing or awkward, or indeed if it’s pleasing for its being awkward.
