A DEEP DIVE INTO THE GLOVES CREATION
From design creation of sketches back and forth between Fiona and glove designer Christophe, the process begins. Christophe designs off his love of car racing and inspiration of a time of vintage driving gloves and luxurious travels. Fiona designs with the Fall collection in mind and a thought about how the modern Kempton & Co. woman is not afraid of anything, and up for everything.
A careful selection of each skin for each pair of gloves, 15 different preparation steps, and three hours of sewing for each pair later, the gloves are manufactured. But that's only the beginning. A special patina exclusive to our Kempton & Co. gloves is then added, meaning each glove is unique and will only get better with time. With each pair being produced individually, we've been waiting for these gloves since July for us to hand to you just before the holidays.
